This is All I Have!

~You are unemployed, you've spent your last stash of money on that suit you're wearing and to fill up your car to get to the 10th interview you've had in the last 2 months.  As you enter the company's parking garage you steal a few moments in your car crying on the steering wheel saying, "this is all I have..."
~Or you've just planted your crop and know that if this season doesn't go well for you, your family won't make it... as you end your day in the field you drop to your knees and scream to the sky, "THIS IS ALL I HAVE!"

Many friends of mine and myself have  experienced these or similar scenarios. It doesn't have to be money related.  Ever been down to your last "Nerve?"  You've given all your time to something and feel like it's getting you nowhere and you don't have enough energy to go on?

At those moments, we must give our worries and cares to God and TRUST that he will take care of us.

I landed on the Old Testament this week and hovered over the Book of Psalms, Chapters 125, 126 and 127.

(bouncing around to some highlights)

Psalms 125:1 Starts off, "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be shaken."

God is consistent and when we trust in God we will have that consistency with us.

Psalms 126:5-6 "Those who sow in tears, will reap with songs of Joy. He who goes out weeping carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy carrying sheaves with him."

Although it may feel like we are giving our last bit of energy, time or money to a Need,  once we give it   with faith that God will provide, we will receive our Need.

Lastly, Psalms 127:1-2 "Unless the Lord builds the House, it's the builders labor in vain. Unless, the Lord watches the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. In Vain you rise early, stay up late, toiling for food to eat- He grants sleep to those he loves.

Simply put, in everything we do, the Lord must be a part of it or we are doing it in vain. So when we are down to our last bit of hope, give that hope to God. He's got this!

This is all I have, That is all God needs.
